All students are graded and assessed every term. The grading system helps monitor the progression of every student. All students will receive these results in a student report emailed at the completition of the term. Students will progess through the different stages of development and will be advised when their coaching class needs to be upgraded to help facilitate this progression.
In the event of a wet day, the Tennis School will make a decision around 2:30pm if the courts are playable or not. If it is decided that the days tennis needs to be cancelled, a text message is forwarded to students to let you know. If you do not receive a message, tennis is generally still on. There are days that you are required to turn up and tennis lessons may still be called off. In the event that one of your lessons throughout the term does get called off due to wet weather, you may register for the Wet Weather Make Up Day. The times and dates for this day are advertised on www.rodfaheytennis.com.
If you cannot make your lesson the lesson is forfeited. If there is a position available in the same type of group on an alternative day throughout the week, students can do make up lesson.
Parents are welcome to spectate the lessons at all times. Parents are not allowed onto the court throughout the lesson unless this is requested by the coach for a particular reason.
Students who practice their tennis or play more than once per week will demonstrate a faster rate of improvement.
